This Is Going To Be So Much Fun!
As this is our first year organizing BookFest mayhem, we're intentionally planning a smallish event. We simply don't know who of our Michigan Authors will be interested in participating or how many readers will attend... so we're ramping our BookFest gently; starting out small, and we'll gain momentum as the years go on. If there is enough interest from both authors and readers, we may hold two smaller events each year, to accommodate those who have busier calendars. Or perhaps just one huge BookFest at a different location... We'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out. These are the attending authors... so far...

The Elks Lodge is located just east of John R Road, and just north of Fourteen Mile Road. (see the map), with ample parking for both authors and readers. The Elks Lodge is a wheelchair accessible, non-smoking facility.

BookFest Tickets: They're FREE! Yup, you'll be able to get in free, and browse all day! Meet Michigan Authors and have them sign your books! When you're done at the BookFest, hop on over to The Scriptorium and discover our used book collection.
Food & Beverages: Food and Beverages (aside from small candy dishes for table visitors) are NOT be permitted inside the Elks Lodge.
BookFest Raffles: Throughout the day at The BookFest, we'll be hosting a raffle. Drop your business card, or our handy intro card, into one of the boxes and you may be the winner of a prize. Prizes are drawn every hour during the BookFest, and include things like a Kindle Fire, Scriptorium Gift Certificates, Restaurant Gift Cards, Books, and other nifty things we know you'll enjoy!
