Read Books From Around The Country... And The World... Win Prizes!
Visit The Scriptorium between June 15 and August 30, 2018 to register for the program, and pick up your passport.
Domestic Passports are available to readers under 14 years old.
Domestic Readers select books written about, or those that are set in, each State of the United States of America (fiction or non-fiction), and may be from your home library, purchased at The Scriptorium, or borrowed from your local public library.
International Passports are available to readers 15 years and older.
International Readers select books written by a foreign author, or those that are set in a different country, from each continent of the globe (fiction or non-fiction), and much be purchased at The Scriptorium only.
Bring in the books you've read, and have your passport stamped at The Scriptorium.
Win prizes for filling the pages of your passport with stamps.
Special stamps are awarded for books originally written in a foreign language, and translated into English.
An Extra Special Prize will be awarded to the reader (one for Domestic and one for International) who reads the most books written by a Michigan Author, purchased from our shelves!
A list of prizes will be posted at The Scriptorium at the beginning of the program, and remain on display until the end of the program.
Prizes will be awarded the week of September 10-15, 2018 at The Scriptorium. Bring your stamped passport to The Scriptorium during that time to collect your prizes.
Prizes will not be shipped to winners, they must be picked up in person. Prizes not claimed by September 15, 2018 will become forfeit.
Prizes are non-transferable, and may not be exchanged for other prizes or cash.
Children must have parent or guardian's permission to participate in the program and receive prizes.
